Week 3

I have recently been contacted by one of the apprenticeships I have applied for and unfortunately the place has been filled and so they have notified me that if anything else does come up in the future they will contact as soon as possible. The other apprenticeship however has not got back to me yet and I still await a response, however I am starting tot think they have already found someone else. To confirm that they aren't available I am going to ring they and ask about my application for the apprenticeship next week so I can still give them the rest of this week to respond themselves. I have also took it upon myself to start thinking of a backup plan if the apprenticeship route is not going to go well for when I leave college and so I have also started looking at Universities that might interest me and have found one university that I think fits that interest. Nottingham Trent University has an animation course that has caught my attention as it seems like something I'd enjoy. The course is full time and starts its duration is 3 years which is alright with me. The entry requirements however ask for one distinction and one two merits in a BTEC Extended Diploma and so I would have to get those grades in my computing course at college. It also asks for a creative portfolio which shows how creative you can be with your animations if you started studying there and GCSEs in English, Maths or Science with grades C/4 or above which I already have. These requirements are what it will take for me to go to this University and so I will keep this course in mind for my future after I leave college.
