Week 2

Week 2 Recently I have been relieved of my job at Domino's Pizza as my probationary period has ended and I was deemed not ready enough for how busy Christmas will be there. Therefore I am currently unemployed however I have been looking for jobs using a website called indeed.com and have already begun applying for jobs. I have currently applied for four different jobs at Wilkinson's, Game, PoundWorld and Tesco Supermarket. I think staying employed is definitely important for my future as it will make me more comfortable in a working environment and some jobs may even count as work experience for computing depending on what I do. Along side looking at jobs, I have also been looking at apprenticeships for computing and have found two apprenticeships that I'm quite interested in. Week 1

Week 1 I have recently attended EGX with college and have took time to visit the ambassadors for some of the Universities that are welcoming people to become students for computing courses. These were mainly high-performance graphics and game engineering courses and I am interested in doing cyber security and animation courses and so I asked them if they had any University courses involving these. One University ambassador representing the University of Leeds explained to me that the courses they were showcasing were only ones involved in the game industry and so I decided to look into in anyway as I could want to go into something like this with some persuasion. EGX also offered presentations by the world's best game designers however I did not listen to these presentations for long as there were other things I wanted to look at.
