Week 1

I have recently attended EGX with college and have took time to visit the ambassadors for some of the Universities that are welcoming people to become students for computing courses. These were mainly high-performance graphics and game engineering courses and I am interested in doing cyber security and animation courses and so I asked them if they had any University courses involving these. One University ambassador representing the University of Leeds explained to me that the courses they were showcasing were only ones involved in the game industry and so I decided to look into in anyway as I could want to go into something like this with some persuasion. EGX also offered presentations by the world's best game designers however I did not listen to these presentations for long as there were other things I wanted to look at. Because the Universities at EGX only offered games design courses I researched animation and cyber security courses at home and found one that caught my attention. There is an Animation course at Nottingham Trent University that I find very interesting, after watching the video presenting some of the past students' animations I am now even more interested in becoming an animator myself. The university course would be full time which I would prefer and is a 3 year course starting September 2018. I think I would definitely enjoy being on this course and so I will keep it in mind as one of my options for my future education.
